DAPAANZ Endorsed The Drug and Alcohol Practitioners Association of New Zealand (DAPAANZ) has formally endorsed the Diploma in Applied Mâori Health: Coexisting Disorders offered by Te Pû Wânanga o Anamata, as a competency based qualification for individuals wanting to pursue a career in Mental Health and Addictions. Te Pû Wânanga o Anamata is the only education provider to offer a Coexisting Disorders qualification that has an emphasis on Mâori philosophy to cater to Mâori clients and communities. Based in Rotorua (direct flights available from Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland) and central to the wider Bay of Plenty area, the training is accessible to all. Anamata is listed in the DAPAANZ Competency Based Courses and successful graduates will be eligible to apply for DAPAANZ membership at www.dapaanz.org.nz
