Anamata Administration Centre

Te Pu Wananga o Anamata is now located on the First Floor of Acacia House at 19 Louvain St in Whakatane. This is a significant change for the organisation, formerly located on the first level of the Ministry of Social Development Building on Pyne St, for ten years since 1999. A formal karakia by Awanui Timutimu, a local Tuhoe kaumatua, took place on the morning of Friday 29 January 2010 to mark the occasion. The new facilities at Acacia House will operate as the Anamata Enrolment and Management Centre, where all inquiries will be fielded

What We Offer Tūhoe

We offer authentic courses. The generic Māori courses offered in the public sector often do not address real Māori issues. Our courses are aligned to Tūhoe educational, social and health initiatives. By underpinning our courses with Tūhoetanga we ensure that graduates are able to integrate into the communities they are planning to serve. To check our latest, click here.
